Barb Jamison I'm a graduate of Loyola University and the University of Southern Maine with post-graduate study in math at Adams State Teachers' College, University of Colorado at Boulder, University of Connecticut at Hartford, and University of Phoenix.  My prior teaching experience starting, in 1984, was entirely in private boarding schools and the Cape Coral Charter system is the closest thing to a private school I've ever seen.  I'm married to Steve who teaches science and we have two grown, married children - each of whom has a daughter and a son:  Our daughter, Sandra Hodgkinson, is a lawyer currently assigned to the Defense Department at the Pentagon and also is a Commander in the Navy Reserves.  Our son, Commander Glenn Jamison is a pilot and is currently Squadron Commander assigned to Pt. Mugu Naval Air Station in California and attached to the USS Ronald Reagan.  He is also a Candidate Astronaut with NASA awaiting final selection.
