Oasis High School is part of the City of Cape Coral Municipal School system. The school officially opened this beautiful state-of-the-art facility in August of 2009. Oasis offers an outstanding opportunity for any high school student residing in Cape Coral. Our small size, experienced teachers, community support, family involvement and rich programming make Oasis High School a great choice. OHS offers two distinct major areas of interest.
Oasis High School is the first high school in Southwest Florida to be certified by Cambridge University to offer the prestigious AICE curriculum. The Cambridge University AICE curriculum is a challenging program designed to adequately prepare students for university coursework. Students in the AICE program can earn up to 30 college credits while in high school and are eligible for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
The Business and Entrepreneurial Academy focuses on giving students the tools necessary to be successful in university level business programs. Students in this academy will get real business experience through a wide range of internships and in our graphic design studio and culinary classroom. The Business/Entrepreneurial Academy culminates in a yearlong senior project that enables students to design and create a fully operational business. Funding for this program is provided in part by local businesses.
Dual enrollment classes offered in conjunction with FGCU give Oasis students the opportunity to get a jump start on college while simultaneously completing their high school coursework. This program is available to all juniors and seniors in good academic standing.
Oasis also participates in a variety of sports and activities including Student Parliament, Model U.N., National Honor Society, baseball, volleyball, basketball, cross-country, soccer, golf and tennis. We encourage each of our students to participate in our school and the community.
